21st Century Outplacement is a way of expressing that FFT is awake to trends and practises, both old and new, in job change.
We have the advantage of working employers and recruiters. Observing the variety of methods they use to fill vacancies.
We observe new ideas being used and pass them on to the job hunters we work with. We also observe the older practises are still widely used. We realise that the job market is a place filled with old thinking and new thinking.

There are:

  • no set rules
  • no specific places to look
  • no one way of doing things
     
 
 
Our approach is to broaden the appeal of the job hunter by adopting the basic principles of commercial marketing and applying them to the individual.
 
 

This means that our clients will:

  • Appeal to all demographics and ensure that they are competitive in the job market.
  • Their CV’s will get reaction and they will impress in the recruitment process.
 

The Practical Approach:

We have a practical approach to job hunting. We don’t adopt one methodology and hope it works. If there is one thing we know about changing jobs is that we don’t know who is reading a CV and what their personal agenda is.

  • We can’t speculate what a CV reader is looking for, nor should we.
  • We can’t afford to generalise that because one tip worked, it will always work.
